From a young age, I had a passion for cooking. I grew up watching my grandparents create meals from scratch, turning simple ingredients into incredible dishes that seemed like magic. I was fascinated by the way they could transform everyday food into something that brought everyone together around the table. Those moments sparked a lifelong love of cooking.
As I got older, I became obsessed with learning everything I could. I spent countless hours watching Food Network shows and daytime TV chefs, studying techniques, recipes, and flavors. I dreamed of one day becoming a professional chef.
There was just one problem - I was an incredibly picky eater.
Time after time, I would discover a recipe that looked amazing, only to realize it included one or more ingredients I simply couldn't eat. Whether it was onions, mushrooms, peppers, seafood, or any number of other common ingredients, I found myself constantly searching for substitutions or giving up on the recipe altogether. It became frustrating and discouraging.
Eventually, that frustration even pushed me away from pursuing a culinary career. Finding recipes that fit my tastes often felt impossible. Most recipe websites let you search for ingredients you want, but very few let you easily exclude the ingredients you don't.
That's why I created this website.
This platform was built for picky eaters, people with food allergies, dietary restrictions, and anyone who simply dislikes certain ingredients. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of recipes only to find one ingredient that ruins the entire dish, you can tell us what you don't eat, and we'll do the filtering for you.
We believe everyone deserves to enjoy cooking without compromise. Whether you're avoiding ingredients because of allergies, sensitivities, dietary choices, or personal preference, finding recipes should be simple - not frustrating.
